I finished my shopping, my son has one more gift to get which he expects to get tomorrow, here in the land of blue laws. He'll learn.

We were on our way to his DeMolay party in Ridgewood tonight, and mistakenly took the highway instead of the back roads. The traffic for the Garden State Plaza in Paramus, one of the mega malls, was backed up as far as Hackensack. There was a line MILES long to just get in, and I am sure no parking.

We bought everything online, or gift cards in the local CVS or grocery store. I have no idea why people do this. To have thousands of people lined up for this mall blocking the highway for miles is just insane.

I of course will be up early to do my shopping Dec 26. Those deals in the stores are not going to go away.

Goodness.. We still have something to buy TOMORROW. We couldn't get it today because DH is sick.

I'm pretty much done. I need to buy one more gift for one of my daughters, and a couple b-day presents for Sydney (my Christmas baby who is turning 9 this year). I work tomorrow (Christmas Eve) and my office is located at the mall, so it won't be a big deal to run next door to Sears & grab a few items.

I can't wait. My kids are going to be soooooo happy! (I hope!)

Is there a line on the highway to get into the mall where you work? Just trying to put NJ in perspective here......
