Default Breaking Emotional Barriers

Looking for female answers
I was dumped today after a 8 month relationship. She was cold and dumped me by text. We said we love each other for a while but when she broke up with me, she showed no emotion. The break up was sent by text and she does not pick up my calls. She said she is not crazy, but afraid of love. Later, sending me a text saying she does not want to talk to me anymore. After thinking about it I don't think it was another guy but I think the coldness is from supressing feelings and rock hard emotional barriers. I want to keep her in my life even as a friend. Is there a way to be supportive to someone like this even though I am not with them?

I guess the best thing you can do is respect her wishes and stay away. Texting is a stupid way to break up, but some people just don't want to have the conversation face to face.

Let her go, you can probably do better. And if she offers friendship in the future, be open to it. But don't push her, or your luck. Sorry for your hurt.

obviously she was not the right one for you, so def. let her go. She has commitment issues.
