It takes 300 extra calories to maintain a pg and 500 extra calories to feed a newborn infant. However, you're feeding a toddler so you're not going to need nearly that much. Secondly, you're talking about ttcing. . .not even being pg. As your going through your pg, your milk supply would dwindle substantially to make sure that the fetus is taken care of. Your body takes care of things in this order: pregnancy, lactation, mom. So all that to say, eat when you are hungry, try to make healthy choices and don't worry about it.
