Default Breastfeeding while sick

The rest of my household had been ill for about a week, and I was so happy that the new baby and I were staying healthy. Then last night I woke up with a sore throat and started running a small fever today.
I'm already fighting some supply issues, and am scared the illness will completely sabatoge me. Right now I'm trying to rest as much as possilbe, drink lots, I'm taking fenugreek, and taking the motrin they gave me at the hospital to keep my fever down.
Any other ideas for how I can keep my supply up while I get over this bug? Thanks.

Oh, and bring baby with you. The more you nurse the more milk you'll produce, and your body is building antibodies that will help protect baby!

Good night. Hope you catch some real ZZZZZ!

Don't take Sudafed! It'll dry you up! Drink lots of water (hot water with lemon will help your throat too) and like Christina said...nurse, nurse, nurse! I hope you're feeling better soon!

I'm already feeling much better- and baby never got sick (YEA!!)
I cut way back on the supplements I'm giving her, and we've had a few times where I ended up nursing almost constantly for several hours straight (with a little dozing off). To make myslef feel better I took her in to weigh today, and she gained 3 oz in3 days (another YEA!)
Thanks so much everyone!

I'm so happy to hear that you are feeling better and that baby didn't get sick! I think that continuing nursing and taking care of yourself really helps. I have gotten really sick two times since I had DD. I continued giving her fresh pumped milk (since I EP, not BF) and she has still never gotten sick. I feel so bad for sick mommies with sick babies, so I'm so glad that things have gotten better!

I'm not totally up on my lingo - may I ask what EP means?

It's ok. It's one of those things that you don't really know what it means unless you're doing it!

EP=Exclusively Pump
My DD never took the breast, so I pump, and then bottle feed her breastmilk.
