Default Breath Rx Easysaver Rebate Denied

Did anyone else purchase the Breath Rx Introductory Kit for the March Easysaver Rebate? My rebate was denied and when I called they said the Introductory Kit did not qualify. No where in the EasySaver catalog did it say Introductory Kit does not qualify. To the best of my memory, that was the only Breath Rx product that was on the shelf at Walgreens when I was buy items to participate in the rebate. Also on the Introductory package, it boasted NEW!, so I'm thinking this must be it, since the company is wanting to entice people to buy their new product, so that is why they are offering it free after rebate. Also, the catalog made reference to tongue care, and on the list of components in the Intro. Kit is 2 different tongue care items. Anyway, I called to Walgreens number and told the guy what led me to think this was the correct item. I asked him, wouldn't you have bought this item for the rebate and he said, No maam, I would have bought the item it specified! I said that's easy for you to say since you are looking at the correct item! Anyway, I will trot my Breath Rx Intro. package back to Walgreens for a refund and while I am there I am going to look for the "item specified". I asked Walgreen EasySaver Rep. if I was the only other person that was misled and Maureen,(the second person I talked with) said she had not talked with anyone else that purchased the wrong product.

The March catalog did say and show Daily Tongue Care Kit, and my store was also out of the kit all month long. I was able to buy the TCK on April 1st, and called customer service right away. They told me that the offer was extended thru April. I called again to confirm this, and YES, the BreathRX Daily Tongue Care Kit is available this month. You can call to confirm. You just write it in on the blank slot under the offers. #45 BreathRX Tongue Care Kit, put the amount charged on your receipt (up to $11.99), quantity 1. good luck!

The only Breath Rx product that my Walgreens had on the shelf was the Breath Rx Fresh Breath System. Toward the bottom of the package it says Introductory Kit. Also says Contains:Purifying Toothpaste Whitening Formuls, Dendat floss, Anti-Bacterial Tongu Spray, 2 Gentle Tongue Scraper &Anti-Bacterial Mouth Rinse. Since this was the only Breath Rx package I saw and it contained items for tongue care, and the catalog didn't say not good on Introductory Kit, I presumed this was what was needed for the rebate. It isn't always easy to even locate the items on the Easysaver Rebates when you get to Walgreens. I guess I'll just take mine back for refund. Its way too much trouble to re-buy and jump through the hoop again.Just wondered if anyone else had bought the wrong item.

Yeah, this one was very specific in the rebate book, said it was for "BreathRx Daily Tongue Care Kit." If it's just for 1 specific item they don't usually list exclusions, since anything else is excluded by default. If they would have had it on the shelf I'm sure you would have seen the difference (the tongue kit picture is listed in the rebate book so you can see) but I know a lot of stores ran out of them so I can see why you may think the other one was right if that's the only one you saw.

My suggestion is just to make sure you read the rebate description carefully and if you're not sure if its right ask an employee. Best bet to ask would be the cosmetics cashier, they're usually more knowledgeable about that stuff, especially if it's a FAR item since they sell so many.

The times that I have shopped at Walgreens and have not been able to find the Easysaver Rebate Items, I have asked and none of the employees know where the items are. Some Walgreens have some, not usually all of the items on an endcap, but the remainder of the items are not always easy to find. Once when I asked employee, she had not idea, so when I found the item, I went back and told her and she exclaimed, Oh, that's what that is. And yes if the correct item had been there I probably would have recognized it from the picture since I did know that it was a tongue care product. I usually try to buy the Easysaver items early in the month or else they run out, but I'm not convinced this store had them at all. When I return the wrong product, I'm going to look for the right one.Just wondered if anyone else had bought the wrong one.

Default TheraBreath by Dr. Katz is what I recommend.

Please let me recommend a product that I use because I believe it’s much better. It too is available at Walgreens and all the other stores. I use TheraBreath which was formulated by Dr. Harold Katz, because it’s all natural, contains no artificial flavors or saccharin, no alcohol, and it works great for orders from all foods and also bacteria. I have heard about studies that show that TheraBreath creates more saliva than the other brands to help eliminate dry mouth and that is also causes the greatest reduction in VSC (volatile sulfur compounds that cause bad breath and bad taste. I have seen Dr. Katz on The View, and the CBS Morning News, and I have heard him interviewed on the radio and it’s obvious that he knows what to do about bad breath. This is his area of medicine and specialization. If you want to learn about the real causes of bad breath and what to do, check out this page on his web site: http://www.therabreath.com/articles.asp. Hope this helps, as it has for me. My life has changed thanks to this product.

Default TheraBreath

I meant to say, "it works great for odors from all foods and also bacteria."
