Default Broken Blood Vessles

At Scarlette's first well baby check up, the gave her a shot, and she screamed bloody murder. The next day, I noticed a broken blood vessel in her eye. I ended up at the doc a couple days later because I was concerned with her congestion and mentioned it to the doc. She said it was probably from the shot and all the crying ((I have NEVER heard a baby cry the way she did when she got that shot... it was horrible!))

Now keep in mind, she is a great baby, hardly ever cries... She cry if she needs to be changed or feed or wants to be held, but it's more like a sob...

With that said... I was getting her dressed today and I moved from her head to her feet so she looked down at me, and I saw what I thought was bleeding in her eye! I screamed for DH and he came running up the stairs ((poor guy was 3 floors down in the basement!!)) and by the time he got up and we looked in her eye again ((all of a couple minutes)) it looked like little tiny broken blood vessels. He said I probably saw a shadow, and that the broken blood vessels might have been from crying, or trying to poop or something... Now, just an hour ago I had her in the tub, and I moved from her head to her feet to grab the shampoo and I saw it AGAIN! I didn't panic, but I washed her up as quick as I could, and when I brought her out to dress her, I looked again, and it was gone. Again, just broken blood vessels, but I know what I saw this time, and it wasn't a shadow, it looked like there was blood in her eye!!! But as quick as I saw it, it was gone! It doesn't seem to bother her, but now I'm really concerned... Any one have any ideas as to what this could be?

Oh, the first broken blood vessels was in the right eye, this is in the left one...

And one more thing, they eye that it's in now, seems to swell every now and again, nothing major, just enough to barely notice, but I have no idea if she scratches herself or pokes herself without me seeing...

Any advice would be wonderful... I'm calling the ped first thing in the morning, but I know you ladies always have answers so quick!! TIA
