Very, very sad story!
Local family with 5 children (at least one being a foster child)
were camping as a severe storm came-up without any warning.
There were no emergency forewarnings at all.
A tree fell during the storm on their 2 tents.
The little 4 yo boy was killed. Today, we learned that his little sister age 9 months has expired at the hospital.
The third injured child is still hospitalized.
The family is planning for funerals of this two precious little ones.
I do not know them personally, but know of the extended family members. There are several fund raisers going on to help pay for hospital and funeral expenses. No health or funeral insurance and the father works at a local resale shop.
Very sad!
