Hi everyone, I adopted a siberian husky this past week and he is great, however we have a problem. He was supposed to be "fixed" this past Tues and the vet tech was sick and couldnt do it so they sent him to an animal hosp to have it done and they did a real hack job on him. It looks AWFUL and so painful. It doesnt look like they even neutered him, it looks as if they just cut him up. THe humane society gave me antibiotics for him and I am taking him to our vet in the morning to make sure he was fixed and will not need another surgery and that it is not infected, but get this, he was NOT given sedation OR pain meds!! They said it was an additional cost and since he was a humane society dog they wouldnt have paid for it!!! I was FURIOUS!!! We had already adopted him before they did it so he had a home!! My question is can I report this and if so to whom would I report it? I just want to make sure that no other animal is subjected to this treatment at this hosp. But anyway, I could go on in anger for days but here is a pic of him and despite all he has been through he is a GREAT dog, he is so sweet!!! We named him Dakota.
