Default can't sleep :[

I was up every 2-3 hours with bad back pain and bad cramping. I think maybe they were contractions but I'm not sure. When I m/c last year and had contractions they felt like this only a bit worse. It sort of feels like a 5 minute kidney infection on my back! It hurts so bad.

I don't have a doctor's appointment 'til next week. Maybe he'll decide to come before then! They're definitely getting more regular. I haven't had my strep B test yet though which is scary.

Hang in there hon!!...Don't stress...if you don't get your Group B strep test they will probably (as a precaution) give you antibiotics during delivery..at least is what I understand them to do!!! Won't be long my dear and you will be holding your long awaited babe in your arms..Sending you smooth and easy L & D vibes!!!

Sounds like someone's getting ready to show up soon. I had the same problems the last few wks with my daughter... They gave me antibiotics the day I was suppose to have her cause they hadn't got my my test back yet. *lol* They had done one the day before and just sent me strait to the hospital! Good luck hun and keep calm *as if that's truly possible at the moment* and hope all goes well.

They did that for me when I had Kate. Gave me the antibiotics just incase cause I went into preterm labor. They didn't find out till after she was born that I didn't have it but it didn't hurt either of us. So if you do feel like you're in labor make sure to get there and let them know you haven't been tested for it yet and don't know so they'll give you the stuff and you can relax knowing your little one won't have to worry about that.

's Hope you have a nice easy labor!!!! Good Luck!!!!!!

Thanks guys! Is it normal for him to not move around as much in the last couple of weeks? He still moves, just not as frequently and not as long in the spurts where he does. He likes to push up into me and make it look like a heartbeat (I'm not sure if it is his heartbeat or not) and DH gets a kick out of it.

It's really neat that we are so close together, Allison! It's awesome that we are going through the same things at the same time. I have been noticing that my babe hasn't been moving around nearly as much, either. But the moves that he does make are much bigger, like a big butt moving around, instead of just kicks and whatnot.

I feel for ya with the sleeping deal. Not only am I in pain, but I also feel incredibly anxious. But the pain in my back feels like a kidney infection! So much so that I had them run a urinalysis at my last appointment! I remember when I went into preterm labor with Alex (at about 34 weeks) the way I knew something was "wrong" was the HORRIFIC pain in my back! (They were contractions, but not what I expected! I thought I was dying at one point! LoL!)

This time when I feel the pain, I know what it is, and since it's about that time for us, it's really exciting! I would bet anything that those are contractions! They sure don't feel like regular tummy contractions, though, so it's always hard to tell!

Good luck to you! I hope your time is approaching!

Mikki, I feel like I have a kidney infection too! It sucks. We were standing in line at IGA and it felt like it would never go away. DH thinks I'm having back labor but I think jacobi will be here within a week or maybe a little more than that. I'm excited and I hope he either comes fast or eases up a little! It hurts! lol

I totally feel you with the lack of sleep. Even DH isn't sleeping- when I went into labor with #1 I was getting in and out of bed every 10 minutes starting at 4:30am, and he was getting mad at me!! So now he's really anxious- every time I get up to go to the bathroom he wakes up and asks if I'm ok!!

And oh boy does it hurt to roll over on the bed- I have to grab onto the shelf next to the bed to pull myself up to roll over. And my inner thighs hurt like the dickens!
