Default Care Packages?

Any ideas for a college care package to send. I was trying to think of good things to send so far im thinking easy mac, ramen, maybe some candy, pens and pencils. Other ideas?

Send something they might miss. Favorite cookies for example. Send a note saying you're proud of what they are doing. Quarters for laundry if they are still using coin operated machines. Maybe something they can play with as a distraction like silly putty or bendables.

Ooooo silly putty. I love that stuff. The dollar tree and stores like that can be great places to find neat inexpensive items to send off to loved ones.

Send them gift cards to fast food restaurants and coffee shops. It makes a good escape from dorm food. Also their favorite med's aspirin or tylenol. Also nuts because I was always protein-deprived.

How about microwave popcorn, chocolate and gourmet coffee/tea?

I'm not sure what the company is, but my mom sent me "care packages" through a website. They were usually themed around something like finals week (destressing), Valentine's, Halloween etc. Just graduating from college not too long ago, I think that the gift card idea for restaraunts/coffee shops is a great idea. What about gift certificates to the movies or even Wal-Mart? I also liked getting pens/pencils/school supplies because I didn't want to spend my own money on that stuff
