Default Cat is "going" on everything - help!

We have a cat who is afraid of everything and has never really liked anyone but me (she finally accepted DH after she had lived here about 3 years). Her name is Mia. Anyway, she is really not happy about Jayden, our 17 month old son, being here. She is afraid of him, which is understandable considering her personality. But, she has taken to showing her displeasure by urinating on things that he has used - like my baby carrier, his carseat when we brought it in from the car, etc. She doesn't do it in front of me, but I know it's her (the other cat isn't too concerned about Jayden and he just doesn't do stuff like that anyway). What can I do? I'm getting really tired of cleaning up stinky cat urine.

I have tried:
1. Making sure she always has somewhere she can go to get away from the baby so she is never trapped
2. Giving her extra attention when Jayden isn't around, such as during naps or in the evening (she is always hiding if Jayden is awake)

HELP!!!!

i notice you said the other cat is a he; are you certain it isn't the male cat, cos males do tend to mark their territory?

Yeah, we're pretty sure. We had them both fixed several years ago. Good thought, though. I guess I'll go look under her skirt just to be sure!

But, don't fixed cats stop spraying anyway?

my cat was fixed (due to an unfortunate incident with a dog) and he still marked his territory

Change the litter box. I don't mean the litter...get a brand new one. My cat of 5 years suddenly started going wherever... I took him to the vet, spent over $135 in tests to find he was healthy. The vet said sometimes cats decide their litter box is too dirty for them, and refuse to use it. I spent $2 at the Dollar General & he hasn't gone potty anywhere in the house sense. I wish I would have tried THAT first!
