I have always enjoyed watching the creative advertising of just about any product. A television or radio commercial capturing my attention or imagination--or one that makes me crack up, is always something I like!

I especially love Insurance commercials! of course.

One of my most favorite advertising campaigns has been the GEICO Insurance Gecko

Recently ABC Television announced that a sitcom based on the recent GEICO ad's claiming signing up for their insurance on the Internet is "so easy that even a caveman can do it" has not been one of my favorites.

I have actually found the caveman ad's to be irritating but, apparently that's my own problem! Seems enough people like them that the Sitcom appears to be happening!

So if you had to pick which would you rather watch?

A Sitcom based on prehistoric men living in modern America and dealing with the prejudice?

or

A cute 30-minute cartoon, your five year old Loves so much he or she doesn't utter one word or move from in front of the television--during the exact time you need to cook dinner?

Well the Gekco talks and he irritates the crap outta me. I'd pick neither...but then again, both are better than the Head On commercials. Ugh...I'll never use their produce-even if they cure brain cancer-just because I despise their commercial so much.

The only commercial I recall really liking was a Six Flags one from a couple years ago-it had an old guy dancing & it cracked me up every time I saw it.

The Six-Flag one reminded me of my Husbands Best Friend in 20 years..... Oh my!

The one I like right now is a "Coke" commercial which has been running during American Idol.... Anyway, it shows the man and woman at a fancy dinner--and he puts a coke cap on the table and tells his wife he loves her....she looks at the cap and says, "Gee, maybe I should have married Howard Finkelstein..." and we Cut to Howard Finkelstein who is a major geek-dork-nerd and he makes a dork noise and raises one eyebrow....

anyway, the cap turns to airline tickets and the wife is so happy--we cut to Howard again and he is disappointed and makes a nerd look and snorts a bit...poor guy....
