I was wondering what is now the cheapest phone card. I am using the one from Sams that is through AT+T and yesterday when I was recharging 600 for 17 and change and than when total came with tax it used to be around 19.00. Now they add a recharge fee with taxes and total was now 22.11. which is .0367 per minute. Not bad but I believe it could be better. What are you getting long distance for????

Don't renew over the phone because they charge you a higher rate. Always renew your minutes at the checkout. Just bring in your card. This happen to me last year and I learned a fast lesson!

Through a local number, it's 2.5 cents/minute

No fees, no taxes.
I've been using them for over 3 years without any problems.

I buy mine from Target. When they have a sale it is $.03 a minute with no other charges. It is an AT&T card. You can buy 100 minutes, 300 minutes etc. I have had no problems with the card. Also the card does not expire.

Is this still the case?

I remember when they changed to 2.9cents, yet on the phone they still wanted 3.5 cents. Had to dig out the card to do it at Sams (I have the number memorized so I didn't bother with the card).

The .99 cent only store have card for .99 cent for .99 miniutes that 1 hour and 39 minutes. I use them all the time.

Costco and Onesuite are my favorites.

A few months ago Costco had a coupon for $5 off their $20 phone card and you could buy 3 of them.
