Default Children's program "In The Night Garden..."

Has anyone else seen this show? It's by the same people who did Teletubbies and Boohbah (neither of which I was much of a fan of).

The first time we watched it, my kids went nuts for it! Amber (who is 16 months) gets so excited when her favourite characters come on. Heike (3 yrs) decides for each episode which of us family members is which character.

In Canada, it's on the Treehouse channel (7:30 pm EST) and some parents on that forum have made comments that it's not educational programming -- children are not learning anything by watching it. I, personally, see lessons to be learned.

More importantly, it's a show that my girls will watch all of -- and it calms them down before bed.

Josh loved this about 6 months ago and it's a very sweet make believe programme. It's a BBC original so shows on BBC or Cbeebies in England.

Not all programs have to be educational childhood is meant to be fun.
