Default Chili Cheese

This is a recipe given to me by my mom. I've often taken it to potlucks and it's gone by the end of the party:

Chili Cheese

1/2 cup butter
10 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 dash salt
1 8 ounce can chopped green chiles
1 pint cottage cheese, small curd
1 pound jack cheese shredded
Preheat oven to 400°. Melt butter in baking pan (in microwave). Beat eggs lightly by hand. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Pour in melted butter. Add chiles, cottage cheese and jack cheese. Mix until blended. Bake for 15 minutes at 400°. Turn oven down to 350°. Bake another 35 to 40 minutes. Cut into squares and serve hot.
