Has anyone read the Canaan Trilogy by Marek Halter??
Well I never really got into much Christian fiction, but last summer a friend introduced my to the author Ted Dekker....has anyone read anything by him??? He wrote "Blink," "Thr3e," and a trilogy "Black" "Red" and "White" (catch the imagery there?). His writing was sooo unusual and made me think about certain spiritual concepts in a whole new way. The trilogy would be very interesting to discuss. Let me know if you've read it!
I have read Frank Peretti's Piercing the Darkness and This Present Darkness . It was eye opening to me about the spiritual realm and the impact of prayer. Though it was fiction, it made so much sense too. It encouraged me to pray more faithfully knowing there is a real spiritual battle around us.

Oh yeah I read some Frank Peretti back in high school. I really enjoyed those books. They really opened my eyes to the unseen spiritual battle that is going on all around us! Very good books.
How crazy is this! I am at my mom's house right now and she just picked up a book from the library that came out brand new this summer that was co-written by Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker!!! It's called "House: The only way out is in" and it looks really good! I think its going to be my next read!
Okay so I read the" House" book by Dekker and Peretti....very intersting. Took me awhile to see the spiritual analogies, but a lot wasn't revealed until the end. There is actually a movie coming out of this book in Summer 2007. Will be interesting to see if they stick to the story.
