Default Christmas Gifts - Have You Started Yet?

Christmas is one month from today!

Have you started buying or making Christmas gifts?

Do you buy all year long?

Or start after Thanksgiving on Black Friday Shopping?

Or do you wait until Christmas Eve?

Tell us what's going on right now.

I actually went the day after Thanksgiving and just picked up a couple of the really good deals on things my kids had wanted, so I still have tons more to get....

The last two years we have done home made Christmas gifts. Last year we made homemade bread and a wonderful garlic herb butter my husband makes. It was always well loved during the spring when we grilled so we gave it as presents. Everyone loved it and it was such an easy way to save money!
This year we are making homemade candies and will also give dessert jars. These are mason jars that you fill with all the dry ingredients for either a good pie or cookies. You then attach a card with the recipe. They just need to add the wet ingredients and bake.
With a baby on the way we have to pinch pennies some way and holidays can get pricey if you aren't careful.

We have been buying things all year long. Mostly for our parents and extended family. Nothing for the kids yet cause they would have found it by now.

I do all my shopping in the last 2 weeks-and yes, even on Christmas Eve. My stuff gets hidden at my mom's, so I'll end up there till 1-2 am wrapping, then bring it all home with me. One time the girls caught me coming up the stairs & I acted all surprised, "Look what I found at the back door?! Santa must have JUST been here!!!!" It worked! They were little

Your my hero! I wish I could get it done that early and have time to wrap everything nice and neat. Instead I will still be rushing around at 3am on Christmas morning finishing it up like always.

I hand-drew all of my friends's cards and they loved them.
