Chunky food
When did you start and how did you start...I think Aiden still needs the top two teeth to come in before I let him in on finger food and chuncky food...but I was wondering when you all got started and what you started with...I don't remember with Alejandro that was such a long time ago

aiyana was just under 7mons, we started with real ripe bananas, when the skin is black. she now eats gerber puffs, mangos, peaches, potatoes(like in potatoe salad), rigatoni, mac n cheese, bake beans, bananas and crackers. she just got her bottem teeth so shes gummed everything pretty much. she chews really well though, her jaws are so strong. im sure aiden would do great if you started now

Thanks Jess...I think I'll try some of your suggestions...I just don't want to wait till he finally gets his upper teeth...he's 8mnths already and I think the longer I wait the more chance he'll reject chuncky food...

One good food I would suggest is Gerber's meat sticks. They melt down pretty fast. Jaunie isn't so good at chewing yet and manages these pretty well. We still watch that she doesn't gnaw off too big a chunk though.
