Default Coloring hair when pregnat

Hi, every one, I just have a question about coloring my hair, I just finish my firts trimester and haven't color my hair since I got pregnat.
Im only 31 but I already have a lot of gray, so Im not looking to change my look or anythig, just to cover my grays. I normally use color with out Amonia , is like a power that it needs to be mix with water only and it has work for me ( the best) But Im not sure if is ok to keep coloring my hair now, any sugestions?

Thanks every one, and have a great day!

i'm pretty sure it's safe to color your hair. they used to say it wasn't, but when i looked when i was pregnant they said it was fine.

Yeah, I color my hair, too. I mostly just have highlights put in, but every now and then I go for the big color change! It's safe to do so. I've chatted with my midwife and checked it out on WebMD, as well. I think the big worry was that many years ago they used a certain chemical that was possibly unsafe to the fetus. (But first the chemical had to seep into your scalp and into your body that way, which seems really strange to me!) But they no longer use the unsafe chemicals.

I think another worry is the smells of the chemicals, but if you're using an ammonia-free product, then there really are no worries. I am no expert, but I have done a lot of research! I am queen of doing things during pregnancy that have been considered untraditional in the past! But I do my research, first!

You're not supposed to put the chemical on your scalp. make sure they aren't touching your head with the brush and I think you'll be ok. And I personally, because of fumes, would want a fan near by.

I did it while I was PG, it was my one little pamper me thing. I just made sure the windows in the bathroom were open and put on the fan above the shower.

I did it while I was pregnant with Scarlette... the doc said there was nothing to prove that it was harmful, or prove that it was safe..
