I was previously married and have been separated and in process of divorce for well over a year and half. The only reason it has taken so long is due to custody disagreements. In the meantime I met someone else a year ago. My ex and I have finaly come to an agreement but paperwork won't be "final" until maybe the middle of next month (dec)
. In Oklahoma there is a rule that you must wait six months past any divorce to remarry. We were hoping to get married in May. Does anyone know if the 6mo rule can be excused. Especially since I have been separated for 3 times that amount.
