I know as Mom, I shouldn't compare one baby to another as they all do things at their own pace. I am constantly worried about little things- and our pedi(God bless him) tends to reassure me that she is just fine.
Anyhow, we visited a friend yesterday whose DD is 15 days younger than McKenzie. I instantly noticed how high she held her head when on the floor. Kenzie holds it at 90 degrees but does NOT use her arms to pull up more. Our pedi said that some babies do this later, some earlier. Kenzie has rollled a few times- but not on an everyday basis. I watched this little one roll constantly when on her belly to back.
I did notice that Kenzie is WAY more vocal than Jasmine- Should I be concerned. This tummy time stuff is driving me insane. It's only been about a month where Kenzie would "allow" me to keep her in that position for more than 2 minutes. Now she tolerates a few minutes here and there.. She'd much prefer being held, standing, or "sitting". She's just about mastered her tripod sit- though still cracks up at herself when she tips over!
