Unhappy Confused...

Alright so let me start by saying i'm 19 and this is my first pregnacy. Now i am due on Dec. 6th. And i have some qustions maybe some one can help with.
Lets see, i haven't had really any contractions threw my pregnacy unless i havent noticed. I always have mucusy discharge. It doesnt seem like theres any progress being made inside with the baby (like he wants to come out).
Also i get flushed all the time. Where my face and ear will turn bright red and i feel like someone has stuck my face in an oven.A freind of mine says that it's my blood pressure spiking and its a bad sign. But when i go to the doc.'s they say i'm fine.
I also have been having protein in my urine-- witch now they have tested my urine 3 times. And yet they seem to have no answer as to why. Then again my doctors havent even bothered to check my cervix. (and like i said im due on the 6th)
I dont know im just confused and frustrated.and hoping someones gone threw some of this same stuff..Please help!!!

You are completly normal..flushing is a normal part of PG. So is the discharge. First time babies tend to stay in there mom's a lot longer then subsequent pregnancies. I had my 1st at 19 and he was 3 days late. Some protein in the urine is ok...your doc will check for any significant changes throughout your PG and look at the BIG picture.

You also don't always feel braxton hicks with your first PG.

Don't worry...you sound like you are competly normal

High bp rarely has external signs, so if you dr says you're ok with that, then you probably are. Chances are the flushed face is just a hot flash. Something you'll experience more with menopause. What fun huh? lol

When is your next dr appt? I do believe the next time you go, they should check your cervix. If they don't offer, don't hesitate to ask. Maybe they'll be willing to strip your membranes to try to help things along (as far as triggering labor). It doesn't hurt to ask them to.

Early signs of labor are much like serious/strong menstrual cramps. They are regular, and get more and more intense.

It's normal to be worried and scared. Please don't hesitate to ask questions...either here, or with your dr. Good luck!

Well my next appointment is on the 6th. So ill be going in on my due date. I'm just hoping everything goes alright. EVERYTHING is making me bug out. lol. But then again i have a mother who always seems to think there's something horriably wrong. So i guess i get some of the worries from her.
So when the baby is supposed to move down or "lightening" ( i think thats what its called) is there any real signs to that? I mean my hips have been hurting a whole lot more the last few days. Spec. my right side (witch he seems to only like being on the right side)
And with the 'bloody show' how early/late can that appear before labor begins??

Yeah, your mom probably isn't helping you. But-really, all moms worry right at the end. And after. And...well, get used to it. You're going to worry forever now! The trick is trying to be reasonable about it, I guess. You sound like you're doing fine as far as the appropriate amount of worry. This IS a scary time, and you don't know what to expect. From what I remember of my first, the fear of it was worse than the reality, but you won't know that till you're on the other side of delivery.

My hip hurt a tremendous amount with my 3rd. I think it was the way the baby was inside me (yes, they all lay in different positions, and each pregnancy is very different from each other).

Bloody show can make its appearance whenever it wants to. Sorry, I can't offer much help. I didn't have any until I was fully into labor with Conner.

All i know is i want to get this baby out ASAP. before anything bad happens. This worry is driving my bonkers!

Hey I don't know if this helps but with my first I was like you and didn't know what to expect. My bloody show didn't happen until I was in labor so I had no hints there and I never had contractions either. When I did finally go into labor (which was the night before my due date) I swear I thought I had gas for the first 18 hours. I went into the ER at 2 in the morning still unsure if I was in labor. You still have time (granted it's only a few days but still) so I wouldn't worry.

My DS decided to make his apperance at 41weeks, 1 day and he never "dropped" until I was fully dilated--in fact, I almost had to have a c-section, but I joke he heard that and said "Not me" because 10 minutes later when the nurse came to check me he was at a 0 station. (He'd been +2).

Dec. 4th at 11:20am. And still nothing. I'm hoping this little buddle of love is getting ready to go. The roads are getting worse and worse and it worries me that my someone will have to drive in this horriable weather! Ack.
I've been having my pressure on my hips (there alot achyier) and sometimes i get pressure on my lower back that will last like 10-15secs. then itll go away and come back. All in all if feels like i have bad gas in a way. Has neone had any labors that have started this way?
