Yeah, your mom probably isn't helping you. But-really, all moms worry right at the end. And after. And...well, get used to it. You're going to worry forever now!

The trick is trying to be reasonable about it, I guess. You sound like you're doing fine as far as the appropriate amount of worry. This IS a scary time, and you don't know what to expect. From what I remember of my first, the fear of it was worse than the reality, but you won't know that till you're on the other side of delivery.
My hip hurt a tremendous amount with my 3rd. I think it was the way the baby was inside me (yes, they all lay in different positions, and each pregnancy is very different from each other).
Bloody show can make its appearance whenever it wants to.
