Default Cooking Magazines

What are your favorite magazines for recipes and cooking tips? I used to like Cooking Light, but it seems the recipes have gotten more impractical over the years (or maybe I've become lazier!). Anyone read the Rachael Ray magazine, or what about Martha Stewarts Everyday Food?

I like the magazine "Taste of Home."
It has a lot of those old southern recipes in it, and I love southern cooking!

Yup. It's called Rachael Ray Everyday and it 's a big ol' glossy. It's even at the checkout counter now. I've flipped through it but never bought it.

I love Rachael Rays Mag. Its great and filled with so many recipes. I also get Martha Stewart but her recipes are too "over the top". I need more quick, easy recipes. Hers seem kind of involved & time consuming to me. I love Taste of Homes--Quick Cooking Magazines. Also, Womans World usually has some great recipes.

I used to subscribe to "light and tasty" for a number of years, but since allrecipes.com is similar I just use that!

kraft foods has its own (free!) magazine which has some pretty interesting recipes in it(i think it comes out quarterly)

here's a link: Kraft Food & Family

I also enjoy Taste of Home...I got a copy of the new Rachel Ray magazine as a freebie, but truthfully, I haven't had a chance to read it yet.

I've never had a bad recipe out of this magazine. If you ever get the chance, attend one of their cooking classes that tour the country, and if you are near Greenfield WI (just south of Milwaukee) visit their headquarters/test kitchens/gardens. The same publishing house (Reiman) also puts out "Birds and Blooms" for us gardeners and bird people.

Default Simple & Delicious

I like Taste of Home as well as it's sister magazine Simple & Delicious. I'm also enjoying the shop once cook all week feature in "All You" magazine.
