Default Craig's List

My dh and I used to be big ebayers. We sold and bought. We still buy from there, but have found Craig's list really effective in selling our unwanted stuff. It is free to use is one of the big reasons. The downfall is you can get a lot of people stating they'll buy something and then never show up. It's nice though that you can deal locally. It's a great place to go when looking for furnature or larger sized items that would be too costly to ship. www.craigslist.com.

I love craigslist. I have actually gotten quite a few "jobs" there as well. I was a secret shopped at a drug store. 20 minutes earned me $100, and a few otehr things. Craigslist really is a valuable asset.

I love craigslist, too. I just found a great part time job from their listings and have also sold some stuff there that was too cumbersome to sell on ebay. I'm a fan!

I really like Craigslist. We use it for everything. I've gotten jobs through them, sold stuff, advertised yard sales, and even adopted my cat for free from someone (which is my favorite "craigslist find") It's great!

A lot of disgruntled Ebayers are moving their selling to Craig's List and other free classified sites such as Kijiji (which I think is actually owned by Ebay). When I first began selling in 1998 online auctions were great and very lucrative. When they started raising the fees, and when things began selling for less I pulled my auctions. Now they have all kinds of onerous demands of sellers and they force you to use Paypal. The fees are through the roof by now, and I no longer use the site for selling. Ebay was great for a while, and I made a lot of dough with them in the good old days.
