Cures for bad breath
I have bad breath most of the time no matter how much water I drink. I just read somewhere that it is caused by bacteria in our mouth. This bacteria is breaking down food debris which creates by-products called volatile sulfur compounds, but I brush my teeth regularly and uses mouth gargle. Can anyone suggest me some nice treatments for bad mouth odor?
Thanks..

Herbal Remedies For Halitosis and Bad Breath
Bad breath can be quite offensive. It is also known as halitosis. Many people are not even aware of the fact that they suffer from this problem. The most common cause of bad breath is bad teeth.Bad Breath can be caused by many things, cavities, dentures, smoking, alcohol, lung infection, throat infection, everything from certain foods to poor oral hygiene.
The main symptom of bad breath is an odor that usually comes from the far back region of the tongue and grows stronger when the person talks. Bad breath is often accompanied by a foul taste in the mouth. The odor can vary from barely noticeable to overwhelming depending on the cause and proximity to the person. There are also other causes for bad breath which include, infection in the tonsils, adenoids and sinuses. Foods such as garlic, onions, high sugar products, spicy food and dairy products can cause bad breath, along with smoking and drinking alcohol. Hunger, morning breath and poor oral hygiene also play a part in bad breathe.
The latest research news from scientists in Illinois report that breath mints made with magnolia bark extract kill most oral bacteria that causes bad breath and tooth decay within 30 minutes of chewing the mints. A magnolia bark extract could be a boon for oral health when added to chewing gum and mints according to a study reported in the ACS' Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, a bi-weekly publication.

Bad Breath can be caused by Periodontal disease. It is important to get your gums checked by your dentist. Frequent brushing and flossing as well as gargling with mouth wash will help, but if your disease is advanced, then you will need to get further treatment. Hope this helps. -mj@mastermindsupplements.com

Biotene
As a dentist, I would recommend Biotene mouthrinse. It's a very effective over-the-counter mouthrinse, which is alcohol-free. Rinses that contain alcohol can dry the mouth, and keep tissue irritated. Hope this helps!

What about the garlic, is it a bad breath source?
