DH and I have decided to start reading to our baby. I am a teacher so I fully know the benefits of children being read to in and out of the womb! So, while DH worked on our new bathroom this weekend I went and bought some baby board books at the book store. I bought: Brown Bear, Brown Bear, Goodnight Moon, The Velveteen Rabbit, I love you through and through and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. DH and I read to the baby all weekend! It was so cute! We would be watching t.v. and DH would say "Let's read the baby a book!" It was so sweet! He is always talking to my belly or reading books to it!
I saw some really cute princess books, but we are going to wait until Dec. 4 when we go for our u/s before we buy any gender specific ones. When we had our genetic u/s (17 wks) they said 85% its a girl, but we want one more confirmation! We can't wait! I just thought this was a sweet thing DH did and thought I would share!
Any other suggestions on great books for kids?
