Default CVS 30 Coupon Issue

I have been wondering why they don't just raise the limit or something to get a bunch of people out of this cycle. Alternatively, why not include only ECB coupons in the mandated 30. So, I just went to the CVS site and made the suggestion that the 30 only include ECB coupons, not (what they call) OAR coupons (which are what we refer to as CRT coupons).

We have had a steady diet of pretty decent weeks along with a regular infusion of great weeks. One could think (at least I do) that this leads to an increasing number of people who get into 30-coupon hell. Why wouldn't they want to do something to remedy it rather than field calls continually? You would think that raising the limit to 35 would be an extremely easy programming fix and may be just the bump needed for thousands of people. Simply coding the ECB as 'a' and the CRT as 'b' and then including only 'a' in the current count of 30 would be an even better fix imo as we have no control over those coupons and often they just aren't usable. It can't be that hard to make a programming change such as this.

What do you all think?
