My guess is that, on the Maybelline/Garnier promotion -
We have the ability to earn $5 ECB's for $15 worth of Maybelline and/or Garnier items
(for THIS weeks Promo) -
Being listed as "Maybelline, Spend 15 Get 5 EB" on our receipt

And, being that it didn't read *Offer limit reached* when I spent over $15 in "Garnier" items, I am thinking that I can still spend another $15 in "Maybelline" items to earn an additional $5 for THIS week's promotion.?.?
I will have to test it and see!

If so, it will work like this :
Spend $15 in "Garnier" products, Get $5 ECB's
and
Spend $15 in "Maybelline" products, Get $5 ECB's

and

On the Acne Free Deal

Do you have to buy the kit or can you buy a single bottle like last time, should as Step One, for $5.99 to earn the ECB's?

No you can't.....it's not one of the particpating products to qualify you to earn the ECB's...

In the ad, where it lists this deal....it reads *any* "kit" - so, personally, I would think that you would/should buy an AcneFree "kit" item to qualify for the earned ECB's.
Not just an "individual" bottle of an AcneFree product to try to qualify.

And, since I bought this more expensive one, it allowed me to use the $10/$50 coupon that we got in email the other day.
I was trying to calculate my order total so I could use THAT particular coupon.
And, when *I* calculated my shopping order....I caclulated that $10 to be an additional $10 off the price of the AcneFree item...(kinda like a "generic" coupon ~ or a "wildcard" coupon).

So, the remaining calculation would be :

$14.99
$10.00 - $10 off $50 CVS coupon
$4.99

And I earned $5.00 ECB's for buying it.

So, essentially, I got it for FREE with a FREE tube of the TERMINATOR cream as well !!

My combined order SUBtotal was....... $52.64

After all of my coupons.....I paid ........$ 1.65

***I only used (2) of my "ECB" coupons when I made these purchases.
(1) was for $8.99 and (1) was for $6.00.
(Totalling $14.99 in ECB's)
The rest of my deductions were in Manufacturer coupons and the $10/$50 coupon.
And I earned a total of $18.00 in ECB's (including the AcneFree ECB's).

So, I profited in ECB's.

AND, my 12 yr. old son who has been entering puberty of the past year was VERY happy when I gave him the kit!
He doesn't have severe acne, but gets some pimples now...and it's all new to him.....and he's NOT liking it!
So, he was glad that I got him the kit.
(Clearasil doesn't do diddly-squat! And this AcneFree claims to be better than ProActive, so we'll see!!!!!)
