Here's a thought

What CVS brands do you like or hate. With all the CVS brand coupons I would like to know what is good and bad.

When our CVS opened I got, lets just say ALOT of toilet paper, for free. We used it but let's just say 18 months later, I was glad it was gone!


So Toliet paper rough! hate
Cleaner with bleach Love love love
Bathroom foaming cleaner love

Dislike:
Chapstick (too thick/sticky)
TP (only bought the single roll, like 1000 squares or whatever, and it was terrible...too rough)

Like:
Diapers (there was one pack tho, that more then half of the diapers, the tabs popped right off, but because I stockpiled, I wasnt too angry).
Baby Wipes (there was one kind, dont remember, but it was just a little too thin, so the yucky stuff, would seep thru the wipie and get on my hands....thanks goodness for sanitizers...lol)

Great idea!

I LOVE the chocolate covered almonds and cashews.
Also the baby wipes are great, cold and cough stuff, vitamins, zipper storage bags, flavored water, pretzels, laundry soap, fabric softener and any of their cleaners (bathroom, windows, etc.) are all good too.

Toilet paper left a whole lot to be desired! Paper towels aren't too bad.

Overall I've had good luck with CVS brands. I was soooo happy when Eckerds got bought out here in Florida and CVS moved in, it is one of my favorite places to shop....kinda like treasure hunting sometimes because of clearance items.

Gallon sized freezer bags and plastic wrap.
CVS Explorers diapers
Gold Emblem Cinnamon Balls and Rootbeer Barrels.
Light bulbs (might just be liking that I was able to get more than a years supply of them for around $6)

lol, maybe the babies should be polled regarding the diapers since they can't say 'momma, it's too rough on my lil butts.'

the trash bags are thin.. i'm thinking of no longer buying them.. i use their ziploc bags for things i know i can afford leaking, like nails, tie downs etc..

df complains about their paper towels..

so.. i'm thinking of just sticking with their plastic cups, envelopes and ziploc bags.

storage bags

office supplies
vitamins/supplements ~ I love their B1G1 free deals. I have to take 3 diff. kinds a day for my fibro.
just about all of their medicine/health related items
just about all of their beauty/bath items

Don't Like:

toilet paper
paper towels

I'll buy the paper towels for cleaning or to have on hand in case we run out of "good" paper towels. The toilet paper is too rough. I bought a couple single rolls to send to work with DH...lol!

I like their Gallon sized freezer bags. I find them to be better than the name brands. They seal better.
