Default dental work

Is it ok to have dental work done? I have a chipped filling to be fixed. I'm not sure if I would even need medicine to have it done. I am breastfeeding Lydia, is this ok or should I wait to have it fixed?

It should be okay, I had to have a tooth fixed 2 weeks after delivery and I was nursing. All is fine, and they numbed me up.
I was told by the LC to alternate Tylenol and Advil for pain relief when needed.

YES, YES, YES. Medications that you cannot take while breastfeeding are few and far between. They are less common and for more serious illnesses/tests. You can take codeine for the pain while breastfeeding. . .(not that I recommend that. . .just saying. . .) Absolutely do not wait to have that tooth fixed and pretty much anythign that they're going to give you will be compatible with breastfeeding.
