How come no one ever told me that when you get pregnant not only does your cup size grow but so does the circumfrunce(SP) around!!!??? Ever since I was like oh I don't know 12 or 13 I've been a 36B.... I go to Victoria's Secret tonight to get measured, cuz they do it for free!!! I'm thinking that yeah my cup size has gone up and I want to get an accurate size for myself since I plan on BFing... I go in there with dh and the lady puts the tape measurer around me and I'm like I know I'm a 36... she says... "No you're not. You're a 38 and I'd stick with a B for now but you're a large B. As your pregnancy progresses you could move into a C." WHOA!!!! Once my chesticles(hee hee) showed up when I was like 10 or 12 I've been a B... ALWAYS!!!!!!!!! Now I'm a freaking Large B!!!! This is insane!!! So I go to Target to get a nursing bra... these freaking things look like sports bra's!!!! TMI but I have like pointed chesticles... I'm going to look like Madonna with the cone things on my chest in this thing!!!!! Then I'm like I need maternity underwear... they are so comfortable... The lady is like,"What the heck are those things?" So I ended up getting these like cotten hipster underoos and probably got them in the wrong freaking size!!!! GRRRRR.... So I bring them home and look at this nursing bra.... the straps were sewn on TWISTED!!!!! How dumb can ppl be!!!!???? So now I'm sitting at home eating Double Chocolate Milano cookies and drinking a TON of water getting ready to put Memoirs of a Geisha in the DVD player and cuddle up to the brand new body pillow dh bought me at Wally World!!! He's so good to me!!!! Honestly, he held my purse and the underoo's and bras I baught while I looked for a book!!!! Then he buys me a body pillow and it MATCHES the BEDSPREAD!!! WHOO HOO !!!!! Yeah happy about stupid stuff.....
Inconclusion, Victoria's Secret can go somewhere with the obviously WRONG tape measurer (by the by I tried on the 38B... its a little tight even on the last rungs), Target needs maternity underoos, and ppl Malaysia need to pay attention when they are sewing things together...or really the company that distributed them should have given these things a better once over!!!! STUPID QUALITY CONTROL PPL!!!!! ok I'm better!!!! Thanks for letting me rant... hope everyone's weekend goes GRRRRRRRRRRRReat!!!! lol
True story.... I was a D when I was pregnant with my first now I'm a DDD..... I absolutely HATE it.... And no matter if I lose weight or not they won't shrink it's awful (dh is okay with it but I hate them) And I'm like you when I'm sad retail therapy is THE BEST!!!
I miss my tiny chest I once had. I was a perfect and happy 34 A/B. Now I am a huge 36 C/D. This caused me to have to buy larger clothes even though I had no real belly yet... so for a while I just looked like a bag lady. Now I am filling out ok with belly and it is balancing my huge chest. I heard that after the baby is born your cup size increases even more for the when your milk comes in! YIKES!
But we have to remember that these huge things will nourish our babies... that helps me relax a bit. I want to give them the very best.

I can relate...I went up a full size AND a cup size with this past PG. I'm not complaining though, while I'm BF'ing they are still looking perkier than before I got PG
careful about victoria's! i used to be a manager there.
motherhood has nice maternity bras. but to be honest, i would pick up 1 nursing bra for when you're at the hospital, but that's it. I ended up going up an extra cup size when my milk came in and had to send DH out to the store.
I got a stretchy type of material for the bra with support. I only got one and won't wear it until I have Cooper but still... I can't get over how stupid ppl can be about sewing something on correctly!!! lol
I can so relate to the twisted strap thankfully I can sew so I just unstiched it and sewed it back on correctly .
I always would get the once that would have adjustable cup sizes so when my milk first came in I could do the largest size (lowest hook) and in a few weeks when I would be back to somewhat normal I could do the middle or smallest size. Good luck with it all it is another adventure mothers get to experience.

I know I have to be patient but I'm a freakin gemini... I don't have patience!!! I play with him every night. I use my heart monitor thing to listen to him moving around or his heartbeat and we've gotten into the habit of playing hide and seek. I mean this literally. He will hide from me then come kicking the monitor off. Then he'll hide again and I'll try and find him and he'll kick it off again... We do this for about 10 to 15 minutes (it started as a way to tire the little bugger out) and we'll both go to sleep. I want him here so I can REALLY do that kind of stuff with him!!!! GOD it's going so quickly yet so slowly!!!!
