2Girls-- You are amazing for doing it twice, and again coming up here! You are my idol! I tell ya, if I could go back, I would totally get the epidural! If I ever have anymore, I would never want to go through the uneccessary pain again! hehe! Thanks for all the messages, everyone! It's great to log on and see that people actually made it through my story! It was a long one!

He is absolutely beautiful! I wanted to also say that I am proud of you for making it through a natural delivery. My best friend did a med-free delivery this time around with her dd and said the same thing you did...she'd get the meds for sure if she had to do it again. I think you may have put some doubts in my mind about a water birth though. I wanted to labor and birth my twins in a tub, but no one in my area would allow me to do it because of it being a multiple birth. I thought maybe if I have a singleton next time I'd try it. I took a ton of natural birthing courses and didn't get to put any into use (had to have emergency c/s at 29 weeks)...maybe next time...maybe.

Awww Michelle- he's so adorable!!! I don't think that putting in no epi even if you beg for it in your birth plan is a stupid thing to do! Just remember- it's the worst pain, but the easiest to forget! I'm hoping I can get through it like you did when my turn comes up. I too requested no epi, and no pitocin as well this time.

I'm sure you'll do great! I think it's a mind-set thing! Some contractions were bareable, and some weren't! The ones that were, were the ones that DH was breathing with me and the nurse was putting counter-pressure on my back. And the ones that I couldn't take were the ones that I was screaming through! LoL! I guess those birthing classes really DO teach you something!
