He is at prime growth spurt age. . .right around 6 to 8 weeks. . .but a month is a long time to be hitting a growth spurt. What do you usually do when he doesn't sleep? And what do you mean by 'he doesn't sleep'. Up all night screaming? Only sleeping a few hours at a stretch? A few hours (like 2 to 4) is normal.

Woops. . .I was reading your pg ticker thinking you had a 9week old. DUH! Sorry and disregard my advice previously! Still, if he's sleeping at least 5 hours. . .that is considered "normal". OTOH, there has to be something that's waking him up. Have you tried changing his room with a night light or something? Giving him a sippy cup with water (water only--no juice or milk), etc. Will he be soothed with either you or dh?
