WTG.. There's a really good book.."Deceptively Delicious" by Jessica Seinfield that has ideas about adding purreed veggies/fruits into foods the kids LOVE(like her mac and cheese) and them getting their required veggies without knowing it. Like you could add pureed squash to her mac and cheese and she'd most likely remain oblivious! Just a thought! The chicken is a great start!

What I also liked about that book is that she says to still put the veggies on the plate. Even if she doesn't eat them. They should be on her plate lunch and dinner, eventually she may pick one up and start munching on it, you never know!

I actually have this and do this....more for myself cause Kate isn't fooled into eating her veggies.....she sniffs & inspects her food before she takes a single bite! I used to be that way too though....I didnt grow out of it till I turned 23. I make some with veggies in it and keep some on the side without to offer when she throws the first batch.....and then if all else fails and she hasn't eaten all day thenI give her one of "her foods"

I can't remember what the book says to use but we use ground chicken, broccoli, some with cheese inside for dh, flax seed, wheat bread crumbs, and some random spices I love broccoli anyway though...I could eat broccoli with everything. Have you tried ground chicken meatballs with squash instead of ground beef or ground turkey for your spagehtti? Dh didn't even know that it was chicken!!!!

Yea, We're doing WW(well, I am doing weight watcher and DH is eating it or he'll be awfully hungry, lol) So, we do a lot of ground turkey and ground chicken!
Kenzie is anti-jar green veggies but WILL eat them if they're fresh(like cut green beans or fresh steamed peas).
