Discipline and ADHD...UGH!
Does anyone have a child with ADHD? I have several, but one is more severe than the others. She requires medication, and even with it, she's a real challenge. She's nine years old, but sometimes her behavior seems more like a three-year-old. Yesterday she got into a paint can and splattered white paint all over the bathroom. When I found the mess later, I assumed it was my toddler. But no, there was paint on my nine-year-old, and after a while she confessed. Sometimes it's baffling, the things she does. When I asked her why she did something like that when she knows better, she said, "I don't know why I did it."
Anybody have a child with issues like this?
