Default Do American eat croquettes?

Originally, croquettes are from French. Generally, they are deep fried, but non-fried croquettes are still so good, besides, healty, because hardly any using oil. I'll introduce how to make it. It's EASY and tasty.

ingredients: 3 potatoes, 1 onion, 1 carrot, ground beef (as much as you like), 1 egg, bread crumbs, tomato ketchap

direction:
1. Mince onion and carrot.
2. Sautee minced onion carrot, and ground beef into the fring pan, with salt and pepper, or nutmeg.
3. Peel potattoes, boil and mash them.
4. Mix #2 & #4, using ladle or spoon.
5. Form small balls with your hands, from #4.
6. Dip the small balls into mixed eggs (Be careful not to break the balls.)
7. Put bread crumbs into a boul and cover the small balls with bread crums.
8. Prepare a piece of alminium foil, greace and put small balls on it.
9. Put #8 into 350F preheated oven and wait until they get little burn. (about 30min)
10. Dipping tomato ketchap on croquets, and let's eat!

Little burned crumbs tastes kind of crispy, and good.
