Default Do people ask to touch your stomach?

This pregnancy more and more people want to touch my tummy. Some just reach out and touch and then ask other always ask first. So first question.
Do people want to touch your tummy?
Do they ask first?
Do you mind when people want to touch your tummy?

Sometimes ppl want to touch my tummy and IF they ask first I'll say it's fine but if they don't I flip out on them... I don't really care if its someone I'm comfortable with but if it's someone I'm not then I don't really like it...

Yes!!! People want to reach out and touch my belly all the time. It is very strange! If it is a family member or friend and they ask first I don't mind. Still I have total strangers that reach out and touch my belly. I could not imagine touching someone's belly that I did not know.

I hated when people touched my tummy! My MIL & SIL were the worst! I told my husband when I was PG with Amber that they were NOT to touch my stomach. They did it when I was PG with Heike non-stop. I never wanted to say anything because my MIL is SOOOO touchy. But I couldn't deal with it with the second one because I was so sick through the whole thing.

There is something special about touching a pg woman's belly
with a new life growing there.

I love to touch, but always politely ask first.

One of my close friends at work is 8 months pg
and just makes the most cute pg Mom ever.

I always ask if I can touch her baby.

When I was pg with both of mine, I had lots of people
touching my baby belly.
And you were right, I preferred people to ask 1st.

I find a lot don't ask, and that really makes me uncomfortable. Even when not pregnant, I can't handle having my belly button touched, I can't even touch it myself, or look at someone touching their own belly button, it makes me physically ill !
But, if someone I know asks, I can at least guide their hand away from my belly button. People should definitely not just touch without asking.

i didn't mind people i knew to touch my belly but hated the fact that someone i didn't know wanted to touch, i would never touch the belly of a woman i don't know. If it's people i know i always ask before i do it.

I don't really mind when people do it, as long as they give me SOME warning... I hate the ones that just reach over and touch you and you are like, um, what the heck? But I don't think I've ever been ASKED... people just strike up a conversation and during which they rub... as long as they are not weird about it, it's okay. I'm proud of my bump Although there was a man at McDonalds one time that rubbed DH the wrong way... he was clearly drunk ((at 11am!!!)) and was trying to touch my belly and asking all these questions and DH said, "She is due in 2 months with puppies, and we didn't find out the genders but you can rub my belly if you must!"... it was quiet funny!

i'm a pretty private person when it comes to being pregnant. the only person that could touch my belly without asking was DH. if people i knew asked first, they might've been aloud to touch. i had quite a few clients start to touch my belly, i would remove their hand. Alot of my coworkers would rub my belly when i got into work --- so i would rub their belly. i really don't like people touching me, weirds me out.
