I have just done a series on the Rapture of the Church, The Great Tribulation, and The Millennial Reign of Christ. In these articles I discuss different views about when the rapture will happen, what will occur during the tribulation, and what things will happen during Christ's reign for 1,000 years on earth. Check out the articles and let me know what you all think.
Do you believe there will be a literal rapture of believers? When do you think it will occur? I didn't give my opinion in my article, but if people are interested, we could discuss our ideas.

This is an interesting topic to think about. Through the teachings of my church and the Christian college I attended as well as my own personal studies I believe that the rapture will occur first and it will be a literal rapture of the church. As far as when it will occur, the Bible tells us we will not know. There are signs of the end times that point to this approaching, but no one can know exactly when it will occur. Following the rapture, there will be the Great Tribulation which will last 7 yrs, and then Christ will return and reign for 1000 yrs on earth. That is my understanding. If I have time later today I will definitely look at those articles and refresh my memory on the Scriptures regarding this!

Wow, Melissa- you are due in just a few days! A friend of mine gave birth yesterday and she was due on March 6th!
Anyway, I believe in a pre-wrath rapture of the church. I believe that we will be here for a good portion of the tribulation, but that all believers will be literally raptured out (to meet the Lord in the air) with the opening of the seventh seal judgment. I have had different eschatological views in my lifetime, but reading "The Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Church" had a profound effect on me.
