So I had an appointment last week. They did an ultrasound and they say that I am measuring 2 weeks ahead of normal.....and that she already weighs 6 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 5 weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At the time they were telling me this I had 6 weeks to go!
So, I am a little freaked out!!!!! I wanted to do VBAC, but I am sure if she ends up being 9 pounds or so that they may not allow me to at this hospital! I am not too worried either way. I figure, if I go into labor and she is almost here when I get to the hospital they arent' going to be able to do the section anyway. And if I don't go into labor before my due date and they schedule a section then oh well, not much I can do about that. It is up to baby......if she wants the section she will just wait. And if she want to do this the way it should be done then she needs to come a few days early, and not take her time on the way out!!!
Other than telling me my baby is going to be huge the appointment went well, they said everything looks great. So now it is just time to wait. And finish getting ready! We may be moving right after she is born!!!! Yikes!!!! I find out later this week!

i cant believe you only have 5 weeks left!!!!!!!! Maybe she wont be as big as they think....they tend to be off a few lbs here and there...good luck and keep us posted!!!

5 wks to go??!!! WOW Kasia...that is wonderful!! Hope that baby decides to come a few days early and you can have the VBAC that you are hoping for!!!!

She still could be a smaller baby.

With Gabe they told me he was right about 5 pounds at 32 weeks and he was born at 8 lbs 9 oz. But I also have big babies; all over 8 lb. He also came into this world as an unexpected unmedicated VBAC. So maybe you'll get the birth you want after all.

I can't believe you're almost in the final days!! And they aren't always right with the sized, but darn close.
I go the 10 to see how big my little one is... I'm excited and scared all in one.

Wow, time flies!!
Just so you know, they can be off by a pound either way. They told me Jack was 7 lb 9 oz on Tues and he was born that Friday at 9 lb. 6 oz. So they were wrong the OTHER way!!Good luck!
