well i am 34 weeks now but when i went to my appointment today she was measuring 37 weeks and 4 days and she was already 7 pounds!! i was wonderin if something like this happened to anyone else and they had their baby early like what u would according to the ultrasound? i am hoping she comes this month instead of next but wantin to see if similar thing happened to any of u all?
She went to the dr around your time and was measuring 36 weeks and they said at that time the baby was also 7lbs. They kept telling her she was DEFINITLY delivering a 9-10lber.
Dylan was born 3 days late, and was 6lbs 12 oz
so I dont think measurements/ultrasounds are ALWAYS accurate...i think ti depends on the baby's position and who measures you that day
I have heard more stories where the estimation was wrong (way wrong) than it was right. But the docs are right on some times! Who knows Guess we'll just have to wait for that birth story and you'll have to let us know how close their estimations really were!!
I keep getting told that I'm having a big baby! When I had the u/s at the beginning of June he was measuring 2 weeks older then he should be, and weighed in at almost 5lbs!
So I guess you and I will have to wait and see what happens!
I am 34 wks +3days today and had my u/s and my little girl is almost 7 lbs, im looking at and 8 pounder when i deliver is i can be induced early like i want to. If i go to term, shell be about 9. hopefully i can get her out before that happens!

With my DD she was "normal" til my last month and a half then she seemed to explode! *lol* They thought I might go a few wks early, but I carried almost to term. She was a 10lbs. Good luck!
