Yes they still guarantee their makeup and I only know this because when they had their revlon sale I almost bought a used lipstick and the cashier told me that if I buy any of their makeup and dont like it I can exchange it. I wonder how they can do that and not lose money... oh well I like it.
actually, there's a "guarantee" on every single product at CVS. you can return used mouthwash for goodness sakes. but, referring to your original question, yes.. CVS does take back opened and used makeup with or without a receipt. Of course, they would be happier taking it back with a receipt.
