Last night Kaydee (4 months) was screaming---nothing unusual, since she been diagnosed w/ reflux. We are pretty used to it now. DH was walking around with her trying to get her to burp--she finally did and it was so forceful that she actually gagged while she was burping. She spit up all over him. He put her down to take his shirt off and notcied a very TINY spot of blood. Im talking like extremely tiny, but blood nonetheless. I was very undecided what to do. It was such a small amount i didnt wanna rush her to the hosp or call the dr. But I still felt like it wasnt normal.

She was dead asleep in the carseat after that, so I just let her stay in there. We were sitting on the couch and I heard this weird noise coming from her. I got up to look and she had spit up all over her face and she was turning blue from not breathing. She was def choking, so i ripped her outta the carseat as fast as my hands could, laid her over my lap and smacked her back a few times. A ton of spit up came out of her mouth along with another forceful burp. It took her about 10 mins to start breathing normal again. At this point I was ready to take her to the ER, but no blood this time. And, right after her breathing returned to normal, she was cooing and smiling again. So we decided we would take her if we had anymore issues, which we didnt. She slept really well in fact. Has had 3 bottles since and has been fine.
Any ideas? Should I call my ped today, even though we didnt have any more issue and she woke up fine this morning?
