I wore a uniform at my old school and hated the uniform. It was really uncomfortable and ugly. Aqua colored like no one was wearing then, long skirt that was too tight at the waist and not made for short waisted people, and a vest that was loose and dowdy. But I didn't hate the school.

I went to a reunion several years ago with alumni of different years. We had a great time, and actually had a vote as to who had worn the best and worst uniforms over the years. As bad as mine was, the one they changed to the year after I graduated was unanimously voted the worst. The one the girls wear now and that recent alumni remember was voted the best.

As long as I can wear my boots (I don't know why they wouldn't let me, but some people are just a-holes) I'm coo'. I wouldn't mind wearing a uniform to be honest. It'd just be one less thing to worry about in the morning. Like I said though. I wanna be able to wear mah boots. ;D

For schools in the UK there is always a uniform typically. For a boy, black trousers, black shoes, black socks, long sleeved shirt(colour depending on the school), a tie, jumper and a blazer. The same applies to schools only at some schools girls have to weat trousers, girls can have a summer blouse as well which does not require a tie.
