Default Michelle Obama - BABY MAMA????

Did someone say "Clueless"?

Now I know we have many mamas on this site, some of whom are "baby mamas". But this comment refers to a wife - and a wife who has been a powerful asset on the campaign trail.

I think this is a snide put down. The question is, do you believe it is a sly attempt at racism? Would such a comment be made about a white candidate's young wife?

I say it's a racist jab. "Baby mamas" are associated with a certain type of community and while it's not exclusively black. . .you wouldn't hear that phrase in an all white middle class neighborhood. I don't hear unwed mothers in CT referred to as baby mamas. It's associated with minorities. . .not white people to be very blundt. And while the term has caught on, it definitely originated in cities (and technically the concept originated with 'baby daddy') More importantly it specifically implies: lack of education, lack of responsibility, lack of sense and lack of status. And someone should get a serious lashing. Even as a far right conservative, I find Fox deplorable. Did you read all the other serious blunders they made?
