My elderly mom(87) lives about 400 miles from me. She refuses to live any where but her home. I am so busy that sometimes I forget to call her. Does anyone here use link removed by Admin elderly care call service? Thanks

We used Meals on Wheels for my grandmother. She never ate the food, but we didn't care because the point for us getting her that was to have someone always checking up on her. She fell one day and the person coming that day found her and called us.
My other grandmother has "Life Alert." She wears a necklace with a call button on it. There is also an intercom in her house where they can talk to her if there is an emergency.
Might try those services.
