Elizabeth Denise arrived at 4:18 this morning. She is 7pounds 11 ounces and 21 3/4 inches long.
After weeks of being dilated at 1-2 centimeters and having lots of Braxton-Hicks my water finally broke last night at 1am. I was still dilated 2 cent. when we arrived at the hospital. By the time I asked for pain meds, it was too late. I was pushing before the doctors were ready. Thank goodness she came very quick. I did not think I was gonna make it without pain meds, but it happened very quick and I didn't have time to think about it too much.
She is beautiful. She has tiny face features with a full head of black hair. She hasn't cried all day. When she is hungy, she BF's. The doctor isnt too worried. They said she still has a lot of amniocic fluid in her system. She keeps coughing it up.
I can't get over what a perfect miracle babies are. Ok, I will shut up now. I sound like a new MOM.
