Talking Emma is moving

Emma has figured out how to pull herself across the floor. It almost looks like the guys in the military when they are crawling on their belly using their elbows to go forward. She hasn't grasped the concept that her legs are there to help her along.

She is also trying to sit up I think. She gets up on one elbow and over onto the one side of her tush. She just can't quite get all the way up right, not that she would know what to do once she did

that's so great... Gabby started moving at first like the army crawl... DH described it as "crawling like a wounded soldier"

She is always on the go, even from day 1. The first time they brought her to me from the nursery in the hospital they said you know she never stops wiggling, even when she sleeps.

She is a quick study I believe. With a 10yo sister and 12yo brother she has also already picked up the selective hearing and stubborn streak that they have

I feel bad for the dog. We got him 4 years ago so he has no idea that once Emma gets moving his toys (and ears I'm sure) are going to be fair game for her.

haha thats too funny....Our dog is our DD's "Buddy"...she thinks they are friends...he lives at my IL's now because they have a huge backyard, so when she doesnt see him for awhile she gets upset...i told her today we were going to see gramme and pop pop and she said "and Miller" its too funny....

When she was younger did she ALWAYS want to be standing? My other DD, is almost 3 months and thats all she wants to do....if she crying, you just let her stand and shes fine! I have a feeling we will be walking instead of crawling!

Congrats on the mile stone! A friend of mine says that her oldest learned to walk with the dog...her ds would stand up and grab onto the dogs fur in the back and the dog would take little steps whith him. He learnt to walk this way
