Unhappy exercising with 3 kids and a dog!

Hi all, I need some help and ideas please....
I am a mum of 3children aged, 5 and a half, 2years and 10weeks. I do not drive, my fiance works long shifts on the railways and i don not have family near by who could take the children for me. All my close friends work and I am breastfeeding so it is very difficult to find time to do any kind of exercise at a reasonable hour without neglecting my children. I walk the dog when I take my daughter to and from school so there isn't many other opportunities to go out with him for long long walks either.
What can i do at home, as childcare is very expensive and so are the local gyms, which doesn't require fancy equipment and can be done in the house when the lovely british winter hits?!! I just want an efficient belly toning exercise really as thanks to b'feeding quite a bit of weight loss happens anyway. I'm heading towards 30 and don't want a permanent jelly belly just yet! This is my 3rd time around and I don't expect miracles and I wont be aimimg for pre-pregnancy clothes in a matter of weeks just steady loss of my muffin top and toning of my stomach and abs...please? maybe?? hehe!

I live in sunny Florida. One of the moms near me does her power walk pushing a stroller and with the dog besider her on a leash. This isn't practical with a 5 year old, or a two year old who is out of a double stroller.

So my suggestion is to schedule workout time with a video or an exercise tv show. Getting a stationery bike or treadmill is not a bad idea either. Just be aware - my godsons got curious about why the stationery bike did not move and set about taking it apart one night when they were about 7 years old with my youngest son. A team of triplets and my son! They are all grown up now. And their mom and I are still overweight

Hi there! My kids are now in their teens, but I can definitely relate to your dilemma. There were times in my life where I thought there was no way I could fit a workout into my busy schedule. The fact that you're walking in the morning is a great start. Make sure you walk quickly, maybe even working up to a light jog for a minute or two, then going back to a walk to get your heart rate up.

Sometimes it's easier to break up your workout routine into smaller increments throughout the day while your little ones are napping or watching a kids show.

If you happen to have an "old-fashioned" VHS player, "Abs of Steel" has a workout tape of three 10-minute ab workouts that are really good. They're fairly inexpensive too, since they are on VHS. You could easily fit one ab routine in during a daily naptime.

I just wrote a blog titled "But I'm Too Busy To Workout." If you're interested, you can check it out.

Good luck to you!
