Earlier today I posted an article about fantasizing and wives after the Today Show reported on interesting poll results.

Basically, the poll found that 53% of wives had considered cheating (34% did) and 58% admitted to fantasizing about a man other than their husband.

So now I'm laying it out there for any brave soul who wants to participate in an unofficial poll here. Simply clicking yes or no won't reveal your identity, only leaving a reply to the post will. Which if you're fine with doing and expressing yourself that way, so be it!

I've had dreams about men that weren't my husband, but they were either famous people, or just a guy, I didn't recognize the person, and I am never married and cheating on my husband in my dreams. One time I was in high school again and dating, things like that.

so, I'm gonna say no. I don't consider that a fantasy, since I have no control over my dreams.

Mine is a pretty similar experience...sometimes the fantasy is about a generl person (ya know the whole teacher/cop/doctor stuff) not a particular person...im not fantasizing about the guy next door or anything!

I would be very suspicious about the honesty of a woman who declares that she has never fantasized about another man. I recently had a very nice dream about playing cards with Johnny Depp! I may be married, but I'm not dead! I think fantasies are harmless and, to a certain extent, necessary for us to feel attractive and desired by more than one man (our partner). My husband prefers Halle Berry. Neither of us have been, or have any intention of being, unfaithful.
