I have a question on this...
I went to the store today and they told me it's limit 3 for each SKU number- is that true? I hope so... she even asked the general mgr and he said yes- that the rebate qualifies limit of 3 for each SKU number.

Is it really limit 3 TOTAL out of all those items/SKU numbers? Please let me know- because if so, I'm going to be returning a lot. I got almost all those (minus 2 of the SKU#'s they didn't have those items) times 3 each... I'm returning them if they aren't all going to qualify for rebates!

I noticed when putting them in online just now- with 3 receipts (I did it in seperate transactions using my rewards cpn and some cpns mailed to me/etc.) -that all the rebate offer #s are the same... and it says limit 3 per household but doesn't say whether that means 3 total out of ALL those items available on that rebate offer that's listed out on the rebate receipts... or if it means 3 per each rebate offer (ie: 3 on $3.98 rebate, 3 on $4.99 rebate, etc.) OR if it means 3 total out of all those rebates?
Please let me know!

I am pretty sure (99%) that you can only get three rebate per Offer #. In this case, all these products is same offer # so you can only get three rebate, $2.99 or $3.99 or $4.99. Just three.

You can call the rebate center to confirm.

There's 4 on the same rebate offer- some for $3.98, $3.99, $2.99 and $4.99. I'll call and if that's all it is- I'm returning a lot of pens and pencils. Thanks.

How (and more importantly WHEN) will I know if the store was right about the rebate on limit 3 of each kind... OR if they were wrong and it's only limit 3 total for the entire rebate offer?

It lists them all out like that... to the right it says validation in progress, under rebate offer it says check. For each of those listed above- I got 3 of each kind. Would they list them all out like that if they were only going to refund me 3 pens total for the rebate offer? Do I wait and see if the check is for all of them and THEN I'll know one way or the other? that might be too late to return if not, I'm not sure if Staples return policy.

What number do I call to ask about this?

The rebate center # should be on the rebate form.

Please update us on the rebate status. If the limit of 3 of rebate in totol is true, your rebate status will be changed to "Household limite exceeded" with red color.

I hope it is limit of three rebate PER PRODUCT.

If so, then I will buy more myself. -

You should also be able to check the status of your rebate at www.rebateshq.com and it should show a dollar ammount for the rebate
